The Shotmaker is a removable graphite insert that is 12" long and weighs only 4 grams. The insert is locked at one point only. Therefore, it allows the golf shaft to bend and twist around it. It is positioned to preserve the original playing characteristics of the golf shaft. The Shotmaker does two things: it dampens impact shock, and it significantly reduces or eliminates shaft deformation, which is inherent in every golf shaft and contributes up to a 50% increase in inaccuracy. Because the Shotmaker is a foreign object sitting inside the golf shaft, it interrupts the deformation process as to improve accuracy up to 40%.
