Willis Uses Harrison Shaft to Record First Top 10 of Year
San
Antonio, Texas, Sept. 29, 2002 Garret Willis, playing with
the Harrison Pro 2.5 Titanium shaft in his driver, produced his
first top 10 finish of the 2002 PGA Tour season with a 264 total
in the Valero Texas Open to finish in second place, three shots
off the pace. Included in Willis' four-round total was a course
record 61 in the second round at the par 70, 6,881-yard LaCantera
course in San Antonio.
Willis,
who is exempt from qualifying on the PGA Tour due to his 2001 victory
in the Touchstone Energy Tucson Open, uses accuracy off the tee
with his driver to help him into a tie for first place in the PGA
Tour statistic of Greens-In-Regulation putting average from 25-30
feet.
Willis'
accomplishment continues HarrisonŐs momentum as having the fastest-growing
use of shafts on the professional tours worldwide.
Cambridge
Cites Harrison Shaft in Achieving European Senior Tour Success
Delroy

Harrison shaft is the best feeling, most consistent shaft I have
ever hit," Cambridge said after he Bovis championship. "I
stand on the tee and feel confident that I can hit it where I want."
