PACOIMA,
Calif. - Coming off two pro tour wins last week,
Harrison Sports delivered yet another strong performance
this weekend, winning the Blue Angels Classic for
its second consecutive victory on the Champions
Tour.
In
addition to the win, this weekend's play was made
even more exciting as a player using a Harrison
Striper
Tour shaft at the EDS Byron Nelson Championship
in Irving, Texas, topped most of the competition,
shooting a 69-66-65-69 for a solid third-place finish
and winning more than $322,000.
"The
Striper
Tour and Pro 2.5 shafts continues to be some
of Harrison's most popular models on the pro tours,"
says Arnie Cunningham, PGA Tour representative for
Harrison Sports. "This week's champion on the Champions
Tour obviously has a great deal of trust in his
Harrison shaft, and our Top 10 player has had great
success with his TaylorMade R7 driver assembled
with a Harrison Striper Tour graphite shaft. He
scored this greatest payday of the 2005 PGA season,
and he's currently ranked 24th among all PGA pros
for Driving Accuracy percentage
Available in 60-, 70- and 80-gram weight models
with flexes ranging from Senior to Extra-Stiff flex,
the Harrison Striper
Tour shaft features a low spin rate, a slightly
higher launch angle, and the
|
tightest
shot dispersion of any shaft currently on the professional
tours. Also, most Top 10 golf club companies now
offer the Harrison Striper
Tour shaft as a custom-fit option.
