PACOIMA,
Calif. - Harrison Sports delivered a one-two punch
this weekend by delivering victories on the PGA
and Champions Tours. Not only did Harrison shafts
win the Fedex Kinko's Classic on the Champions Tour,
but Harrison claimed first-place honors at the Zurich
Classic of New Orleans on the PGA Tour too. The
double victory was a strong statement from the California-based
manufacturer well-known for its all-American made
golf shafts.
For
the second year in a row, Harrison shafts dealt
a victory at the Fedex Kinko's Classic held at The
Hills Country Club in Austin, Texas. This year,
the champion featured the Harrison Pro
2.5 FL Lite graphite shaft in his driver, a
shaft design well-known for winning three consecutive
World Long Drive championships.
Meanwhile
at the TPC of Louisiana, this year's winner of the
Zurich Classic of New Orleans played a 3-wood assembled
with a Harrison Striper
Tour 80 graphite shaft. Last year, the Striper
Tour was named the "Hottest New Shaft on Tour"
and it is as sizzling hot today as when it first
hit the Tour. "It's a fact that the best players
in the world trust
|
the
best equipment, and this year's champion at the
Zurich Classic has played Harrison Striper
Tour in his 3-wood for some time. He shot a
double-eagle with the club at the Bob Hope and he's
been very happy with the shaft's performance,"
says Arnie Cunningham, PGA Tour representative for
Harrison Sports and a 20-year veteran of working
with Tour players. "The Striper Tour shaft
has been very successful on the PGA Tour. It creates
a low spin rate, a slightly higher launch angle,
and the tightest shot dispersion of any shaft anywhere."
Harrison
shafts are all-American made from the finest in
graphite, titanium and boron materials and they
have secured their place among the Top Five of the
most-used graphite shafts in the world. As technologically
superior as they are eye-catching, Harrison shafts
have become a popular and growing choice among professionals,
clubmakers and golf enthusiasts.
Harrison
shafts are available from more than 6000 local dealers
throughout the United States. Please call 800.347.4646
