| PACOIMA,
Calif. -- Acquiring his third Top 10 finish of the
season in only five starts, Rory Sabbatini finished
in second place at the AT&T Pebble Beach National
Pro-Am while playing the Harrison Pro
2.5 and Impulse
Hybrid shafts. Harrison, whose shafts are famous
for providing greater distance with pinpoint accuracy,
also brought home a seventh place finish with their
Striper
Tour.
Harrison
shafts have been celebrating a great start to the
2006 season, already with five top finishes on the
tour leader boards and a win at the Third Annual
Orlando 2006 Players Tour Professional Long Drive
Competition, their consistency in increasing power
and performance has been unmatched by many other
shaft manufacturers in the market.
"We
think it's important to provide golfers with the
best equipment for real game improvement. Our shafts
are manufactured from the highest quality materials
available and incorporate some of the most sophisticated
technological advances in the golf industry over
the last 15 years," says Michael Cheng, president
of Harrison. "We think our results on tour
and in other competitions speak for themselves."
The
Impulse
Hybrid shafts utilize Harrison's patent pending
Inlay Titanium Matrix technology that incorporates
a thin layer of titanium around the shaft's tip
section to reduce shaft distortion upon impact.

The
result is increased stability, reduced shaft torque
and dramatically improved accuracy.
In
addition, Impulse Hybrid shafts are engineered with
a lower balance point and are tuned to produce a
higher launch angle to make it easier for golfers
to get the ball up into the air. The Impulse series
comes in two versions: fairway wood (3.5* torque,
44-inch, 75-gram, 0.335-in. tip diameter) and Utility
(2.5* torque, 42-inch, 85-gram, 0.370-in. tip diameter).
The
Harrison Pro
2.5 series shafts are built with the finest
graphite materials, which provide players with a
durable, premium product that features constant
swing power and unmatched performance.
The
Pro
2.5 series shafts are composed of boron reinforced
X-6200 graphite and feature mid- to high-flex points
and between 2.5 to 2.7 degrees of torque, and are
available in varying weight options with flexes
ranging from L/A to S/X. The Striper Tour features
a 3.0 torque rating and promotes a higher launch
angle with less spin, characteristics usually sought
by better golfers. The low tip torque of this shaft
also leads to one of the tightest shot dispersions
on the market. The Striper Tour is available in
62g, 72g and 82g versions with flexes from A to
X.
