PACOIMA,
Calif. -- Long drives and superior accuracy landed
Harrison two Top 10 money positions at this weekend's
Bob Hope Chrysler Classic in Palm Desert, Calif.
Harrison's two money-winners played a combination
of shafts including the World Long Drive Championship-winning
Pro 2.5 series and the Impulse Hybrid shaft.
"This
is our second strong finish two weeks in a row.
Players realize the superior manufacturing and quality
that is involved with each and every Harrison shaft
and we are seeing them played more often in the
big tournaments," says Michael Cheng, president
of Harrison. "Players really enjoy the longer
distance, higher ball flight, and better control
that our shafts provide."
The
Impulse
Hybrid shafts utilize Harrison's patent pending
Inlay Titanium Matrix technology that incorporates
a thin layer of titanium around the shaft's tip
section to reduce shaft distortion upon impact.
The result is increased stability, reduced shaft
torque and dramatically improved accuracy. In addition,
Impulse Hybrid shafts are engineered with a lower
balance point and are tuned to produce a higher
launch angle to make it easier for golfers to get
the ball up into the air. The Impulse

comes in two versions: fairway wood (44-inch, 75-gram,
0.335-in. tip diameter) and Utility (42-inch, 85-gram,
0.370-in. tip diameter).
The
Harrison Pro
2.5 series shafts are built with the finest
graphite materials, which provide players with a
durable, premium product that features constant
swing power and unmatched performance. The Pro 2.5
series shafts are composed of boron reinforced X-6200
graphite and feature mid- to high-flex points and
between 2.5 to 2.7 degrees of torque. Pro 2.5 FL
shafts are available in varying weight options with
flexes ranging from L/A to S/X.

and boron materials, Harrison shafts are among the
