A buddy and I just had a Pro 2.5 Ti Tip installed in a TaylorMade 580 head. Our intention was to have a club built which will allow us to be competitive in some Long Drive contests. We had 1.5 inches trimmed off the tip and 1.5 inches trimmed off the butt end.

Our local driving range is limited to 270 yards. At this boundary, a 40 -50 foot high net has been installed. Exceeding the height of the net, a tree stands approximately 75 feet tall. By our second outing, we were hitting shots which flew over the tree! We are extremely impressed with the stability of the shaft. It is holding up to our 125+ MPH swing speeds. The Pro 205 Ti Tip is a great shaft!

I just purchased your Pro 2.5 Ti Tip 52" shaft. I cut it down to 50" and put a 360 head on it. The results are not to be believed!! Not only I am I hitting it straighter but oh so much longer. I will only admit to 30 to 40 yards but it is more. It is truly unbelievable!! I am now blowing over bunkers that are 230 carries. Yesterday 3 of my drives were excess of 300 yards. I am 53 and in very good shape but never even dreamed of hitting a ball like I now am.

I will be soon adding the Ti-tip to my fairway woods. Presently my fairway woods have the old Harrison Boron Gold shafts which I love. If the results are anything close to the driver i will be changing to Harrison on my irons.
