| Dear
Harrison Staff,
First of all, I would like to thank you guys for having
such an informative website which provide all the confident
I need in making the purchase of my new shaft, especially
with the user comment forum. Prior to the purchase, I was
not very familiar with your brand. Purhaps due to the lack
of advertising and distribution channels here in Asia. Anyways,
with the way I've been hitting at the range and on the course,
people have already been asking about Harrison shafts. By
writing this review, I hope I can benefit others in making
an informed decision of going with Harrison as I did.
To give the readers some information about me, I am 5'8"
tall and weight 80kg. My swing speed is approximately 92-95mph.
The stock driver is a Ping Si3 380 Ti 9* with OEM Fujikura
Speeder 45.75" S-flex (mid-low flex point/ 60g/ 5.0
torque/D1.5sw). The upgrade is the Harrison Pro 3.5 Titanium
65 S-flex trimmed to 44.5" with D2sw. At the address,
the monster green/ silver/ black shaft finish glows confidence
and actually allows you to see where your downswing is and
keeps your wrist action in check. Swinging the Pro 3.5 is
a breeze. With your swing online, the shaft somehow has
the ability to come together right when you are about to
initiate ball launch and continues the precision through
3/4 of the swing. The trajectory is strong and peeks at
about 190 yds away. The thing was no joke. An hour after
my first test of the new shaft, I was hitting 9/10 straight
drives within 10 yards of dispersion. I have never hit a
sweeter club in my life. I am so glad I didn't spend $300
on a new driver. Turns out this shaft is just what I need
to improve my game. Thanks again, and I hope this others
can find this review helpful.

I had
the harrison Pro 2.5 SL50 in my driver and could honestly
step up on the tee and know exactly where my drive was going
to go. I let a friend use it and he mishit a shot that broke
the head. I have had several "cheaper" shafts and some "expensive"
shaft since with no luck. I am going to get another sl50
right away.
Thanks
harrison for a great product.

Hi,
Ihave

Gentlemen,
After
seeing your 30 day trail offer, I ordered a Harrison 2.5
SL 50 shaft from Maltby and had it installed by a local
Pro-Shop. (Tom Wells Golf, Seattle, WA. Wells was out of
stock on any of your 2.5 series.)
What
a terrific shaft! I replaced the factory T-3 shaft on my
Callaway Pro-Series driver.
I have
instantly gained 15 yards and my tendency to a high fade
right has been virtually eliminated.
Thank
you for a great product and for making an instant improvement
to my game.
Best
wishes,
Cris Lafferty

Hi,
I had a Harrison Pro2.5 SL 50 installed on my Ping 7* Driver
Head 6 Months ago. That totally changed my game. I was able
to shoot fairways over 70% of the time and many times over
300 yards. Needless to say I am now a fully converted Harrison
believer.
Thanks,

I have
been taking part in long-driving competitions for about
3 years, with reasonable success. I have won quite a few
Remax events, including the regional finals in my area in
2001 and 2002. That means I will be taking part in the South
African national finals during September this year. The
area in witch I won is the Cape Town region- South Africa's
2nd largest city ( and home of Table Mountain ).
I am
currently using my 3rd Harrison shaft - the pro 2.5 FL lite
50'' XX in a Ping TiSi head with only 4 degrees loft. Don't
worry, I didn't break the other 2 shafts! Here's some more
good news: Recently I ordered my first Penley shaft ( a
Stealth 70 XXX 52'' ) from Ping WRX through Opal Sports
SA; the local Ping agent. When the shaft eventually arrived
after about 8 weeks, I was naturally very excited. It was
also fitted to a Ping head. However, my new ''toy'' did
not even last a week! Yes, I snapped the shaft while hitting
balls on the range! Needless to say I was pretty disgusted
in Penley, because I have been unable to break a Harrison
in 3 years! I have cracked a Ping head with one of your
shafts, though!
I am
a very satisfied Harrison shaft user and would like to join
your Long Drive Team. My longest drive in a Remax event
is 345 yards ( at sea level no wind). Reading your web site
have been very helpful and I must say that I'm very excited
about your new Pro 2.5 Ti Tip 52'' shaft. I would like it
fitted to a TiSi Tec 5.5 degree head.
Yours
truly,
Morne' Zurnamer
I currently
use the Harrison pro 2.5 FL Lite, X6200 (45'') shaft in
a Yonex titanium head.I really like the low torque of this
shaft. I would like the shaft that matches this, but will
fit into the 3.5 tip heads of the Taylor-made 320 or 360.

I recently
purchased a used Ping Titanium ISI driver with a Harrison
Pro 4.5 FL Lite shaft. It felt good when I tried it and
has outperformed my new Ping drivers with OEM shafts. I
love it.

Hi,
I am currently using an older Harrison PRO 2.5 FL LITE on
a Callaway Biggest Big Bertha. It has a 48" shaft. I love
the distance and the feel of this combination. I have had
it for about 3 years now and would like to upgrade to one
of your newer shafts. What would you recommend and where
is your nearest dealer to me? I am a 4 Hdcp.
Thanks,

I have
just had my Ping Ti driver shafted with a new Pro 2.5 Fl
lite shaft and it is great! To say the least it is everything
I had hoped for and a little more. I have a set of Ping
I3's with Pings Aldella 350 shaft in it, another disappointment.
I will be replacing these shafts and I want to know if you
make a .355 tapered tipped shaft and where can I get some
technical information on them. I am really looking for a
low torque shaft with a high kick point. Do you have something
that will fit the bill?
Thanks,

I work
in a driving range here in New Zealand. The back fence that
blocks the range is 220m (242 yards) and stands 12m high.
With my driver (TaylorMade 360 8.5¡), with its standard
shaft, I could, if I hit it OK, fly it into the base of
the net.
I recently
installed a Harrison pro 2.5 FL Lite, in S flex. At it's
untrimmed length, 52", I could hardly swing the thing, so
I decided to cut it down. Now, with it at 49 5/8", I can
CARRY the back fence. Of course intruged by this extra distance
I had to go measure where the balls were finishing. To my
amazement the balls had finished 275m (303 Yards) from the
bay I was hitting. an estimated gain of 45M. To anyone who
is thinking about trying a long driver and is not sure,
JUST DO IT.
Being
only 5' 10", 120 pounds, I was a little aprehenseive, but
I believe I will never go back.
Thanks
Harrison.

I just
wanted you to know about a round of golf i had recently.
After many years of playing this game, I was frustrated
because I had yet to break 80. There were many rounds in
the low 80s but I could not seem to get into the 70s.
On June
16th at the Centennial Club in Acworth, Georgia, I did manage
to score a 79. It was the first time I used a Smart driver
or a full round. I have hit this club on the range and in
some 9 hole rounds. I admit that a large part of my success
that day was due to the fact that i played a lot of my second
shots from the fairway. Like many golfers, I felt I might
be giving up distance using the persimmon wood and a wound
ball (Titlist Professional). This was not the case.
My playing
partner that day was also impressed with the way the ball
seemed to correct itself in flight on drives that were slightly
mis-hit. I seldom see this with a metal wood. Even when
I felt the ball was not hit perfectly, the dispersion was
not penalizing me. my confidence level is very high now
and I plan to continue using this club and promoting persimmon
to the people I play with.
Also,
the final whole was set up such that you could out-drive
the fairway and land in a pond. I did not take any chances.
I used my Classics 50 4-wood from the tee and then for the
second shot onto the green. Unfortunately I missed the birdie
putt.
In case
any clubmakers should ask, I have the driver shafted with
a harrison Pro 2.5 FL Lite and built the club to 44.25"
and a weight of D-4. This is a great combination and I recommend
it to players needing a firm flex. Thanks for keeping the
persimmon clubs in the mix that golfers have to choose from.
Sincerely,
Al Carli
I am
currently using your Pro 2.5 FL Lite shaft in my Titleist
975D Driver and 975F three wood. They are great. I just
received my Ping TiSi driver with the Pro 2.5 Titanium shaft.
It is the most unbelievable shaft I have ever used!!!

I became
a big fan of Harrison shafts and stumbled upon them fortuitously.
Happen to purchase the Ti King Cobra 3 wood I wanted on
ebay, and as a bonus, it was shafted with the UL Pro 2.5.
Did some research and found out that professional long drivers
often used this shaft, so went out on a limb and won the
auction. Upon receipt, started out a little dismayed at
the heavier weight of the shaft/club setup, but that soon
changed after I started hitting balls with it. Ultra stable,
dependable ball flight, straight and true and I'm now a
true believer of the shaft being the engine of the club.
The mental confidence in this 3 wood led me to forsake a
driver for a while.
I then
took advantage of the shaft fitting service and got a detailed
email from Chris H @ Harrison who recommended me the Titanium
Pro 2.5 for my matching Ti King Cobra Driver. The driver
has been sitting in my closet for a year now, as it has
been mated to some inferior shaft that I hit a couple time
and promptly banished. Well, it's been reshafted now, and
though I have yet to hit it, Harrison's reputation for a
quality shaft is quite strong in my mind, and I'm hoping
I have the right set up for me.
Thanks
for a job well done.

I am
a very big fan of Harrison shafts. I have purchased two
drivers over the past three years (Ping Tisi and Taylormade
360 Ti) and have had both refitted with the Harrison Pro
2.5 Ultra Lite shaft. I have been delighted with the performance
of both clubs after getting fitted with the Harrison shafts.
They are the best shafts, no question about that.

I am
a 6-7 handicap, currently have a Golfsmith 350CC driver
with a Proforce 65 tipstiff with stiff shaft. It is more
accurate than other shafts I have used, but I also have
a Harrison shaft in my three wood (have had several years-it
is an Ultra-lite Pro 2.5 stiff shaft). It is excellent and
long off the tee and fairway. Would like to change the Proforce
to a Harrison shaft. I believe the Harrison is longer.

I had
a Harrison PRO 2.5 Ultralight X-Stiff put into my PING ISI,
and the outcome has been amazing. Both the trajectory and
the distance are fantastic, I'm carrying the ball 280-290
off the tee now, and I hit fairways twice as much as I used
to with my Grafalloy Prolite 35x. In the month that I've
had it, I've seen my handicap go from 13 to 9. I really
just wanted to say thanks for producing a great product.
You've made the game more fun for me, and after he saw what
I was doing, my dad bought one too! (for BOTH of his drivers!)
Sincerely,
Mike Endzel
I
II was checking out your web site and came upon your very
nice harrison hats, and i want one! So can you please tell
me how to get one( by the way, i absolutely love the new
2.5* ultra light. That ball really flies!)

I have
my titleist 975D reshafted with a Pro UL 2.5, about 2 months
ago. I'm very happy I gain more than 20 yard, but what I
most like it is very easy to hit and control. Very nice
shaft.
Thanks,

I have

and will never play anything but Harrison again.

I am
23 male, swing speed on driver is 105 +. I don't swing as
hard on my irons. I have a neutral swing some times inside
to inside. I use my 9 iron or p wedge for 150 yards. I intend
it use a snake eyes fire forged irons. I have in my woods
your pro 2.5 Ultra Lite x5200 graphite shafts. I love the
feel of the club and shaft when I hit the ball. The distance
is great. Every one I have let hit my driver wants to buy
it, thanks for the good quality and for the good support.

I recently
got a driver with a 360cc head and the Pro 2.5 Ultra Lite
Shaft.
Since
getting this driver, I am hitting 78% of the fairways at
my local course and averaging 255 yards. Thanks to this
great shaft I recently broke 70 for the first time in my
life. My stroke average has gone down from 80 to 73 at my
local course.
Thank
you!

Just
thought I'd thank you for those wonderful shafts! Man, I
talked with you on wednesday at 3:00 and the shafts arrived
at 3:00 on Thursday!! Customs was very nice to me!
I Tried
the shafts today, and WOW! Tht's all I have to say. I tipped
it 1/2" so the club is 50 7/8" at 277cpm's. Great
combination! I found my groove now. I've never felt so confident
with a club in my hands before (especially at the beginning
of the golf season). Usually, I am experimenting for the
1st 2-3 months of the golf season, and get something put
together before all the contests. Now, I am more confident
in my combination than I have been in my entire life!
No need
to reply to this e-mail. Just thought I'd tell you guys
that this is the BEST shaft ever produced by you guys. Great
service too by the way.
Glad
to be a part of team Harrison,

After
receiving Scott's advice I went out and purchased the Pro
2.5 tour 80 shaft in the F/S flex for my 9* GBB driver.
It was little lighter than my other shaft (Harrison Professional
3.3* torque 96g), but allowed me to have the same control
as the old shaft. I've been able to increase my swing speed
and driver distance without losing any accuracy. The stock
shaft that came with the driver was very light with a high
torque and it allowed my to hit the ball very long with
absolutely no control. I really liked my previous Harrison
shaft, but I'd have to say that my current Harrison shaft
is by far the best I have tried in my driver. In the past
I've tried Fujikura's Vista Pro 80 in this club and it was
completely unresponsive. I am definitely sold on Harrison
shafts and plan to recommend them to my friends.
