Pro 2.5 Low Launch

To comment on our shafts, please remember to identify which shaft you are referring to and click here.

I've had the Pro 2.5 Low Launch for about a year now. It is the best shaft I've had to date. Keep up the good work!!

K. Wallum

Thanks for all the help and patience, I really hope I can be competitive with some learning and plenty of hard work. In the past I had problems getting a normal (course driver) to fit and consistently hit well. A lot was in my swing but a lot of the problems were in the shaft, since changing to your shafts starting a few years ago with the Boron tour and last year progressing to the Low Launch my inconsistency and fit in my driver has been a thing of the past.

There weren't many options that would work for me and at the Titliest science van 3 yrs ago that became very evident which landed me in the Harrison Boron Tour now having tried many of your competitors, Penley, Grafloy, UST, and True Temper I keep coming back to your shafts. I hope that my learning curve will speed up in this Long drive arena and with the support of people like Matt and yourself and your products I'm confident my hard work will pay off.

Thanks again and a special note of thanks to Matt who's been so patient and supportive of all my questions and specification inquires he is such an asset to your company.

Sincerely,
Elias Delany

I am currently using the Low Launch 2.5 in my new Sonartec and absolutely love it. It is literally long and straight because of shaft engineering and extremely low torque. I have also installed 2-PW the Pro Stepless steel shafts in my Cobra Norman Grinds. It feels real balanced.

Thank you,
Gabriel Vega

So, here are the results from WITTER vs. WALKER IV

45 degrees, light rain, 5 to 15 mile per hour wind right into our face.

We measured out the grid and put a line at 308, which seemed like it would be the limit on this day with conditions like they were.

Day begins with WITTER having the advantage over WALKER with WALKER using the Nirvana / Penley combination and WITTER using the Zeider / Harrison combo. Advantage to Witter by 10+ yards after approx. 250 balls each. (WITTER able to control ball flight & spin more which is clearly evident by watching ball flight)

Break for lunch and go to my house where I made 2 clubs for Greg to use for the afternoon session.

Club #1: 4 degree Zeider head with 61 inch Harrison 2.5 Extra untrimmed.

Club #2: 8 degree Nirvana head with 61 inch Harrison 2.5 Extra tip trimmed 4.5 inches. I also bored out the head and put the shaft in with approx. 2 degree forward
progression to take some of the loft out of the head, so it's 55.5 inches at approx. 6 degrees.

Afternoon session... conditions worsen, cooler, more rain, and more wind.

WALKER, now hitting the Harrison / Zeider combo hits the longest ball of the day by 30+ yards. He also hits the Harrison / Nirvana combo almost the same distance.

In the afternoon competition, both of us hit 20 balls each and gave it our all... I hit some shots as good as I could hit them that were good enough to beat him by 15 yards in the morning (Penley shafted) session. WALKER, now hitting the Harrison / Zeider combo wins this shootout by an extremely convincing 8 yard margin!!!

He hit about 50 more balls with both the Penley / Nirvana combo and the Harrison / Zeider and Harrison / Nirvana combo, and there was still an overwhelmingly convincing margin in favor of the Harrison shaft in both the Zeider & Nirvana head. (The Zeider head had a slight advantage over the Nirvana)

CONCLUSION #1: If I hit the Harrison / Zeider combo, there is NOTHING WALKER can hit with the Penley / Nirvana combo that he can keep within 10+ yards of me.
With the Harrison / Zeider combo, WALKER is virtually untouchable!!! (This translates into a lot of work in the GYM for WITTER over the next several months, unless Walker keeps hitting the Penley shaft.)

CONCLUSION #2: If WALKER does not call you and explain the results to you and IMMEDIATELY switch to HARRISON... he is either STUPID or STUBBORN... either way, if he continues to hit with anything other than what he hit with today, he's never going to hit his longest ball, as his longest combination has just been found and it's clearly the Harrison / Zeider.

Anyway, thank you very much for your support and believe me, after what I witnessed today, I've become an even more die hard Harrison / Zeider supporter.

Talk to you soon.
Ben

These (Low Launch) shafts are AWESOME!
I had an exhibition out at Menifee Lakes yesterday. After airmailing the driving range with ease in front of the tournament participants, I went out to the hole where I was the designated driver for the tournament for the rest of the day.

It was a par 5, 483 yards into a nasty and steady 15 mph head/ left to right
crosswind ALL DAY. I prematurely marked off the drop zone 300 yards from the white tees and found out too late that they would be teeing off from the blues. Oh well, the drop zone became 320 after that. It had me worried because the wind only gets worse the later the day gets out there.

Anyway, I used the 6* Nirvana with the Harrison Low Launch at 52" to hit it 335-355 every time for the groups. These guys were good golfers and were amazed about how far the drives went even into the wind. A lot of them hit my club commented on how good it felt too. Needless to say, WE NEVER HAD TO USE THE DROP ZONE!!!!

Tested a lot of stuff while I had a break of 30 minutes between the groups starting on the back side. Nothing (w/ Penley) came within 15 yards of the Harrison. Pretty eye opening!

I have another exhibition at Industry Hills this Sunday for the Max Camp Memorial Tournament. This one should be tailwind conditions. It was last year and I can't wait to beat my 382 yard best of last year! I'll let you know how it performs downwind next week. Actually, I've played a few rounds with it already and have consistently put balls where I never put balls before so I have a good feeling that mark will be eclipsed.

Thanks again,
Chad Schoenke

I just got the four 2.5 Low Launch shafts and have some interesting news for you.

I just played in the Philadelphia Section Spring meeting opening day tournament... it's not a really big deal, so I decided to play with the 50 inch driver that has the 2.5 low launch shaft.

I've never played a round on the course with that length shaft, so I had no idea what to expect...

Well, 64 strokes later (7 under) and my first PGA win of the year, I can honestly say I've never driven the ball better in all my life...

Following the event, there was a cocktail hour and the talk of the night was "DID YOU SEE WHAT WITTER WAS HITTING TODAY???" "THAT'S RIDICULOUS... HITTING A CLUB THAT LONG..." "WHAT WAS THAT BRIGHT YELLOW THING WITTER WAS HITTING???"

Anyway, it was a great day with the driver, not to mention the Titleist 990 irons that have the HARRISON steel professional shaft in them worked great!!

Thanks,
Ben
